It looks like our first original video game, 100% owned by i-Mobilize, will be released this month, barring any unforseen problems. The working title is “Zombie Blaster” although that may change, and its a classic shoot-em-up style of game that will have free levels with the ability to purchase more. This will be the first in a series of titles that use the same game engine.

Free-to-play (F2P) refers to any game that has an option of allowing its players to play without paying. Some of these games have both a free version and a Pay to Play version that offers the full version of the game and all of the updates This model has proven to be very succesful and we beleive is the future of gaming.

We expect this to be the first of many video games to be released in the near future, including a new type of game category our team has developed that has never been on sale before in any format. Mobile games are a top revenue generator and Metatron plans on becoming a contender in this popular niche.

iPad 2 is expected to be announced tomorrow and we are in the process of optimizing our apps for the new platform, which we expect to do very well. All of our new apps will have iAd advertising built in, further maximizing revenue.

The chief executive of Verizon Wireless, Daniel Mead, refuted rumors that its launch of iPhone 4 had failed to meet the company’s expectations, noting that it has never launched a more successful product.-Apple Insider

Verizon will double the number of stores selling the iPhone, from 4,000 to 8,000 outlets, over the next few days, but it will not be releasing iPhone sales numbers until it is due to report quarterly earnings.
