The Company is proud to announce that Apple has approved our latest “individual” Travel app “Norte De Chile”. Several months ago we were asked to make changes to our Apps and it looks like now we will be able to resume a more robust release schedule.

Another significant aspect of this recent approval is the new app is using a different type of video streaming technology that adapts to network conditions.

We have well over 1000 apps in the que, waiting to be uploaded and approved. The rate of release depends greatly on the Apple Review process of our Apps, which will help determine how many will be released and when they will be available for sale on iTunes. It appears Apple is satisfied that we have complied with the new requirements by their approval our new video streaming and subscription apps, and we expect the rate of apps released will increase over time.

The Company has over 4000 movies/videos/audiobooks licensed and some will be individual apps, and other will be combined into mega apps with subscriptions and in-app purchases.

We announced a 101% year over year revenue increase for 2011 Q2, but sequentially it was down 31% from 2011 Q1. The decrease was due primarily to the slow down in new app releases due to new Apple requirements, and development of subscription apps, which are now being approved for sale. 2011 Q1 had a big boost from the strong Holiday Season last year, and we expect a similar increase this year.

Also its important to note our expenses went down significantly both sequentially and year over year, offsetting revenue decline and keeping the Company profitable.

Overall we are pleased with our 101% revenue growth year over year and now with the expected increase in app approvals and new subscribers we expect revenue to to grow in the upcoming quarters.

Revenue was $111,479 for the three month period ended June 30, 2011 as compared to $55,571 for the three month period ended June 30, 2010, an increase of 101%.

2011 Q2 revenue was $111,479, a 31% decrease from 2011 Q1 revenue, which was $145,509.

2011 Q2 total expenses were $110,605, a decrease of 27% from 2011 Q1 expenses, which were $140,597.

Expenses for the three month period ended June 30, 2011 reduced to $40,361 from $88,958 operating expense for the three month period ended June 30, 2010, representing a reduction of 120%.

A number of shareholders have asked how iAds are performing. So far they only comprise 5% of our daily revenue on average, but that can vary widely depending on a lot of factors, many beyond our control. Apple is in control of most of the variables that make iAds profitable, but we are still testing and experimenting with them, and believe we can increase their efficiency.

The Company expects most of our future revenue growth will be from Subscription apps, and iAds may eventually be in the 10 to 15% range of overall revenue.

Apple is reportedly prepared to build a massive 56 million iPhones in the second half of 2011, with more than half of those being the new fifth-generation model, which we expect to increase our App sales in the near future.

Metatron (MRNJ) is one of the very few Public iPhone/iPad app companies, and the only one with 1000+ apps selling on iTunes and other platforms.

On a side note, here is some interesting news about another App developer we admire, Rovio Entertainment: (Source AppleInsider)

Rovio Entertainment, the created of the popular “Angry Birds” game, is in talks with an interested investor to receive funding that would see the company valued at $1.2 billion, according to a new report.

In March, Rovio received $42 million in funding from investors including Skype co-founder Niklas Zennstrom’s Atomico and Facebook investor Accel Partners.

We are pleased to see at least one App developer gaining interest from the larger investment groups.
