As you may know we have been working on an app that will sell hundreds of movies, audios and ebooks, similar to but quite different from the other big content aggregator apps out there like Kindle, Netflix, Hulu + ect.

We have thousands of media titles already licensed and on sale now but we expect to be able sell new and older titles from within mega-apps more efficiently and profitably than in our current individual media apps.

We have more experience selling media apps than nearly any other developer, and have released thousands of movie, music, audio, and ebook apps on multiple platforms, the new mega-apps will be a quantum leap in technology from our previous ones. Our current media apps have been noticed by some of the bigger content producing companies and preliminary talks for potential co-development of larger scale white-label apps has begun.

Ours is very advanced code for a media app, usually only created by major companies with teams of programmers and engineers. Our small but experienced group of programmers have been working nearly non-stop since last year to bring this app to market, and we are getting closer to a release. Already some of the basic code has been released and selling in our subscription apps with success, but the new apps will be even more complex, and we expect more rewarding.

Because of the scale and scope of this Mega-App, it will be intensively scrutinized by Apple and can take a few back and forth rounds of review for the app to make it to iTunes, so we can’t give an exact release date, as much as we would like to.

There is also chance Apple won’t let us release it as envisioned because it would be too much direct competition with iTunes, but we will be able to release it on Android and scale it down if needed for iTunes.

Of course it would be great if we could ask Apple ahead of time to approve an app before we use resources to build it, but it doesn’t work that way for any developer. Our Mega-App has never been rejected, and has not been reviewed yet by Apple, we expect it to be approved after submission.

Apple does not provide official pre-approval guidance for any specific app. Only after submitting an app will they offer feedback and solutions to gain approval for an app if they choose to. There is an offical app rejection appeal process, and we have gotten over 50 apps on iTunes that were previously rejected, probably more than any other developer.

In early discussions with one of the heads of developer relations we were given the overall impression that this type of app would get approved in some form or another. Also it is our observation that if somewhat similar apps exist on iTunes, and they do in this case, there is a good chance they will approve a new one.

Another complex app for Eckhart Tolle TV is also nearing completion and we expect it to do well when it is released. Eckhart Tolle TV has been growing with tens of thousands of subscribers currently, and our app will be the main mobile portal for existing and new customers.
